Scrapbook Cove May Updates

Welcome Friends and Family!

We are back again with News and Positively Wonderful Updates in this Beautiful Month of May!

It has been a long and winding road since we first opened many years ago in downtown Mystic, and we often find ourselves reflecting upon this wild ride which eventually lead us to open up shop again to give Boutique Paper Crafting another chance in the hopes it will turn into something meaningful to not only us as business owners, but something which our friends and neighbors will also be very proud to be involved with!

Speaking of worthy causes, the Autism Awareness Crop we attended was a most excellent Event!  Many visitors and even more croppers and although we only had a presence for the single Saturday, it was worth all the prep time just to see everyone and support such a meaningful cause.  It is close to our heart and soul as we are not only friends with, but related to a few people on the Spectrum, and creating more awareness is important for us at Scrapbook Cove.

We are now a little over the half-year mark at our new location and word is beginning to reach more and more folks that we have been welcoming back after a long pre pandemic absence! Summer visitors are beginning to make an appearance as well. It is with great joy that we are seeing more and more customers each day! These are the heart and soul of small businesses like Scrapbook Cove.

Thank you each and every one of you for your support!

June brings an exciting event – a popular two day crop

The theme will be FLOWER POWER! Does this bring back memories? We have designed make and takes around the years of flowers, hippies, love and peace! There will be two cards and a two-page layout available to all attendees and drop-ins alike.

Croppers study up on the 1960’s and early 70’s. Roni will be asking her infamous trivia questions for prizes!

Best of all – there will be prizes for anyone who comes in hippie attire!

The pop up store will be open so stop by even if you’re not attending the crop itself!

June also brings new classes to the shop.

Dee has designed five cards to teach. You will also receive a six inch paper pad.

The dies used are vintage subjects and great for Father’s Day!

Dee has also designed beautiful nautical themed cards!

This is a Sunday class for those who find it difficult to find time on Saturdays!

There are a couple of spots left for this French Cottage mini album. The date for this class is subject to change however due to the availability of the chipboard albums. As of right now though, we have enough!

We continue to try to keep in touch with all of you via these newsletters and social media.

Please email or call the store for further information on events and products.

Have a wonderful spring!

Warmest Wishes,

Your Scrapbook Cove Family
